Smile Every Mile - White Oak Bayou - 26 Mile Social Bike Ride - 9:30 AM @ Target-Heights | Houston | tx | US

The Smile Every Mile Bike ride is 26 miles of the White Oak Bayou. This beautiful ride is perfect for getting to know your fellow riders, and to see a bit of Houston too.

It is entirely paved, which accommodates both mountain bikes and road bikes.

(Please note: This is not a training ride, rather we are focused on meeting other cyclists and enjoying a great workout! The training ride is at 6:30 am)

Regular Group: Average 12 MPH pace

At any time if you need to, you may turn around and head back.

We will depart at 9:40 sharp regardless of who is or is not there, so please be sure to arrive a bit early 😀

IMPORTANT: You must complete the following waiver and emergency contact form to participate: https://signnow.com/s/F78ytSYc

You only need to complete the waiver once per year.

Special Note: Please bring what is needed to change a flat tire. This includes tube, a mini pump (or CO2 cartridges). I also recommend a small snack, as we take a few minute break at the 13 mile marker, and it can be beneficial to have a few calories for the way back.)

Training Assignment:
This is a fun ride because it’s a wide one way loop that lends its self to chatting side by side for your warmup as well as pushing speed and practicing your cornering.

This loop is the same Loop that is used for the Memorial Park Criterium races, so it’s perfect practice.

Required:
– Helmet
